No. Aircompair is not a charter broker, and does not operate any aircraft of our own. We provide comparisons and discounts to charter companies that will be providing you with your charter services, and you will pay that company directly for your charter. |

If I make a charter request on Aircompair and change my mind, what happens? |

It is important to make certain you want to charter the selected aircraft before you request a charter reservation, therefore we have incorporated a verification screen into the reservation request process. The charter request is not official until you have been contacted by the selected air charter company and finalized your charter request. After finalizing with the selected company, each company will have its own process for dealing with cancelled charters. |

After I’ve found the charter company and aircraft I would like to fly, and I make my charter request through Aircompair, how long will it be before the charter company contacts me? |

Aircompair transmits the pending charter request immediately to the selected charter company. In addition, representatives from Aircompair are monitoring the request and often contact the charter company personally to expedite the request. It is important to understand that Aircompair is providing a good-faith estimate of the cost of the charter, and the charter company will finalize the charter plans directly with the Aircompair member. |

What happens if the charter company and aircraft I’ve selected is unable to handle my reservation request? |

If this occurs, Aircompair representatives go to work immediately to find an alternate option that is satisfactory to our customer. We will contact our member in person to discuss all other options. Availability of aircraft used for air charter services is always changing, and sometimes the aircraft displaying on Aircompair’s website will become unavailable by the time the charter request is made. But Aircompair is here to make it easier for our customer’s, and will work tirelessly to make certain our membership is happy with the services we provide. |

When I view the estimates in Aircompair, I notice that the Federal Excise Tax (FET) is not included? How much is that tax and what is it used for? |

While this changes from time to time, the current tax rate is 7.5%. The federal excise tax is the way the United States pays for all the government services that aviation users take advantage of – including air traffic control, weather services, and the use of federal airports. |
